Navigant Consulting's Construction Practice assists clients with the timely and cost-effective solution to business challenges such as claims analysis, construction project scheduling, project oversight, cost analysis and support related to legal proceedings. As a Managing Consultant for our Construction Practice, you will help manage the challenges of executing a wide range of engagements. Responsibilities may include project scheduling, delay and acceleration analysis, claims development and analysis, cost analysis, productivity impacts and analysis and other statistical analyses depending upon the specific needs of our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance with document discovery, data collection and compiling other sources of information.
- Provides detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity impacts, contract change orders and other issues related to the design and construction of complex projects.
- Develops computer models of project schedules, contractor production and productivity and costs using various software packages.
- Supervises and develops appropriate personnel including analysts, less experienced professional staff and others as appropriate.
- Provides a model of cooperation, positive approach and leadership for others as well as fosters an environment conducive to teamwork and team success.
- Responsible for the effective and efficient execution of multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Responsible for limited engagement planning and interaction with client personnel and contributes to expanding business with existing clients.
- Contributes to the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.

Additional Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience required in construction management and/or project schedule and cost control or less direct industry experience coupled with construction dispute-related services consulting experience.
- Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills including strong proposal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates efficient, flexible, creative problem solving skills.
- Possesses intermediate or above computer skills, including applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Primavera Project Planner and other project schedule and cost management applications.
- Possesses a solid knowledge base in their specific engineering discipline. Professional Engineer's License preferred, but not required.
- BS degree required in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
