Job Description:

 

The Manufacturing Engineer will assist in the definition and authorization of materials, methods, and equipment required for production, and will provide technical assistance in support of instrument manufacturing.

 

 

Duties include:

 

Creation and editing of bills of materials, providing technical assistance with the assembly process, and assisting with technician training.

 

 

Additional responsibilities:

 

Include updating cost estimates for manufacturing processes, interface with engineering staff, development of computer-based instructions for all manufacturing assemblies, and provide labor standards for manufacturing.

 

Applicants for this position should have at least an associate?s or equivalent in an engineering discipline, with 3 or more years experience in the development and manufacture of medical or diagnostic instruments, preferably under GMP.

 

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
