Manufacturing Engineer (1728)

Carlsbad, CA (coastal San Diego Area)



Candidate is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Interfaces with engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.



Position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years experience. Medium to high familiarity with electronic and electro mechanical assembly, PWA assembly, chassis integration, and related tasks. Very knowledgeable about IPC-A-610 Class 3, ESD precautions, and ISO. Assembly tooling assessment and development. DFM and DFT experience.



Candidate must be clearable. Active Secret clearance is preferred. U.S. citizenship required. Up to 25% travel.
