The nations leading manufacturer of Compact Construction Equipment, Terramite Corporation has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer at their Corporate Headquarters in Charleston, WV.  www.terramite.com

 

This position is responsible for new product introductions, design review, organize, coordinate and monitor new product releases.  Analyze and recommend improvements.  Troubleshoot problem areas, root cause solutions.  Provide engineering support to Operations and Customer Service Team.

 

Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering with 5 years experience in machine metalworking technical applications, fabrication, welding, computer modeling, and project management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Candidate must have a stable work history with BS Manufacturing Engineering Degree.5 years experience in a manufacturing metal forming, machining, and assembly operation.Technical expertise to perform root cause analysisAbility to evaluate, develop and implement improvements quickly.Ability to develop engineering drawings and schematicsUnderstanding of how to utilize precision measurement devicesFamiliar with CNC machiningAbility to manage multiple tasks/projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach othersAbility to work independently, competently, and within a team

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

 Familiarity with computers, including MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.Experience with equipment reliability analysis.Understanding of automotive production system and concepts a plus.Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
