We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in Lean Manufacturing for one of our Holland facilities.

Scope of Responsibility: Responsible for assigned projects for design, development, installation, and documentation of new and/or existing processes, equipment, and tooling.Assures highest quality, least costly manufacturing processes.Assumes project leadership for manufacturing engineering projects, under direction of senior engineer or manager. Responsible for project implementation, including coordinating timing and controlling capital and product cost.Works with product engineers and designers to review form, fit, and function of product design to assure manufacturability.Ensures all new and/or existing processes comply with corporate policy in areas of health, safety, and environmental assurance. Analyzes, recommends, and oversees installation of health, safety and environmental equipment required to meet applicable codes, standards and regulations.Utilizes PC-based spread sheets for analysis of "make- versus-buy" feasibility studies. Presents, to senior engineer or manager, documented analysis of purchased costs versus manufactured costs and makes recommendations for vertical integration. Assures all required International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and Haworth Quality System documentation (Process and Method Instructions) is in place and current.
Minimum Requirements:
? Bachelor of Science in engineering.
?One to five years of manufacturing engineering experience.
? Fabric application/cutting experience a plus.
Working Environment: Must be able to work in development-oriented team environment.Standard office environment, utilizing PC and keyboard/mouse.Climbs/bends/balances in manufacturing environment; lifts/moves objects weighing up to 70 pounds.Occasionally travels overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally.
