Manufacturing Engineer- Controls Systems

We currently have an opening for a Controls Systems Manufacturing Engineer.

The Control Systems Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting the construction of unit control panels (UCP), station control panels (SCP), and miscellaneous upgrades for gas turbines. The Manufacturing Engineer interfaces with the project Design Engineer, Project Management, and with the Controls Manufacturing Department. Projects are executed under the direction of Project Management in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following tasks:
Produce the UCP and SCP console layout drawings using AutoCAD.
Use Windchill and BAAN to generate BOMs.
Meet established expectations for quality and timeliness of all assigned deliverables.
Support the Controls Manufacturing organization with the required documentation to successfully manufacture the unit control panels and associated assemblies.
Maintain a close liaison with Standards Engineering to ensure that design improvements are incorporated into the relevant standard database(s).
Interface with Solars Mabank facility and with field personnel to provide support as needed.
Produce the UCP and SCP console layout drawings using AutoCAD.

Skills:
This position requires:

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.

0 - 2 years of related experience.

Strong interpersonal, communication, teaming and organizational skills are essential; as well as analytical and problem resolution skills.

Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and general experience with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment is also desirable.

Familiarity and experience with Windchill and BaaN enterprise applications are a plus.
