Manufacturing Engineers

Join a major manufacturing firm at one of their major plants in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area. The key to success on this position is a pro-active approach to manufacturing engineering. To qualify you should have experience and/or knowledge of issues such as; continuous improvement, routings, bills of material, machine shop practices, start-up of new manufacturing and assembly lines, dealing with parts not fitting into assembles by recommending a redesign of the part or of the tooling fixture, running of the daily non-conformance meetings, issuing work & re-work orders, helping to phase out the use of older legacy tools such as progressive dies, punch presses, form dies, etc.

 

All of the above experience is not required. The most important attribute is drive and a hands-on attitude with the determination to do whatever is necessary to get good products out the door. 

Some of the processes utilized at the plant include: tube bending, OEM assembly, heat treating, welding, machining, casting, forging, roll forming of sheet metal with aluminum & steel.
