Manufacturing Engineer Medical Device

We currently have an opening at our Charlton Massachusetts facility for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the endoscope manufacturing area.  Duties include: Determine from engineering data what part drawings and operations are necessary for the assembly and repair of complex medical products, plan the sequence of operations, estimate the time required for each and write operation sheets.  Also oversee implementation of new or improved manufacturing methods, standards, testing, procedures and tools and equipment designs to improve operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and achieve the most economic and high quality manufacture of products

 

Position requires a Bachelor?s degree in engineering and Up to 5 years experience working with the manufacture of intricate medical instruments, fiber optics or other highly manufactured products.  The best qualified applicant will have excellent communication skills and experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, ISO and other best practice manufacturing methods.
