Job Description:  Provide floor support for system integration and final testing for a family of diode-pumped solid state lasers.  Primary Job Duties: ?  Real-time troubleshooting and production floor support for final test and integration of diode-pumped solid state laser systems.?  Train production technicians.?  Introduce new products with the help of R&D and NPI Engineering.?  Release parts and maintain BOMs.?  Select and maintain test equipment.?  Generate and modify test methods and product travelers.?  Monitor quality and yield for different parts. Work with Quality Engineering and suppliers to maintain and improve quality of parts.?  Work on projects to decrease cycle time.?  Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing to streamline production processes. Qualifications: ?  Must be a US citizen or a Green Card holder. ?  Minimum a BS in physics (optics preferred) or electrical engineering.?  Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.?  Previous work with lasers a plus.?  Experience with Agile and Oracle, Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma a plus.?  Excellent communication skills.?  Ability to collaborate with teams across the organization.
