Manufacturing Materials Engineer - TEST CELL

Leverage your product and supplier expertise to support strategic business initiatives relating to commodity sourcing and supplier management. These initiatives include NPI, assurance of supply, material cost and labor reduction, quality improvements and constantly matching product requirements to supplier technologies/results. You have demonstrated leadYou will need to be educated to at least university degree level and have typically 5+ years practical experience, but at least 3 years in a similar environmentership skills in working effectively with R&D that resulted in meeting and exceeding stated design for manufacturability, cost and delivery goals.. Knowledge of metallurgy and the physics of electrical interfaces. Experience in supplier technical capabilities.Experienced with Supply Chain, Experience in Quality control management and deep usage and understanding of PDCA, root-cause analysis, closed-loop processes, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, Analysis, including TQRDCE, benchmarking and supplier auditing,
