Our client; is a recognized leader in the electronics manufacturing services industry.  They have the following positions available in their Pittsburgh Pa facility:

 
Manufacturing Engineer  
Engineer Manager  

 
Manufacturing Engineer  (Jp0009A)

 

Responsibilities:
Provide a wide range of technical and management expertise in the various aspects of manufacturing including being a  interface between operations, sales and engineering functions.
Ensure that requirements for efficient processes, practices and technologies for manufacturing are addressed on a timely basis.
Plan and implement new programs/products into production in a timely and cost effective manner.
Identify potential manufacturing related risks; Define tooling & manufacturing requirements for programs; develop cost  justifications; and  Provide technical support.
Represent Operations in new production; Identify potential manufacturing related risks.

 

Education:

 
Bachelor?s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or other related engineering field or an equivalent.
5 years of industry experience in manufacturing engineering.
Experience in printed circuit board and electronics assembly, manufacturing/production.
Ability to use drawing and project scheduling and/or planning programs a plus.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and flow charts

Engineering Manager   (JPp0009B)

 

Responsibilities:

 
Work with both internal and external customers with regards t products and/or services meet established specifications and product quality.
Ensure compliance to customer product specifications by ensuring that documentation is correct. Maintain master documentation files. Administer engineering change notice and  Conduct periodic follow-up are completed in a timely and correct manner
Work proactively with customers and staff to improve designs. Insure that written test procedures comply with customer specifications; and design tests.
Manage engineering projects and commitments to customers and ensure that projects are completed in budget and time.
Manage engineering staff; including development and retention.

 Experience

 
BSEE
8 years  experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience in people management, customer support, meeting facilitation and conflict management.
