TG Missouri Corporation is a supplier of steering wheels, airbag assemblies, plastic interior and exterior trim parts to major automotive customers. We are currently seeking applicants for a Injection Process Engineer position.  Duties of the position include: Set and verify best process conditions for injection molded parts.  Assure process targets are met for productivity, scrap rate, and overall costs.  Daily responsibilities: Execute injection molding trials in order to establish process parameters.  Evaluate and recommend improvements of the 3 primary process components (material, mold, machine) based on trial results.  Ability to analyze tooling from mold flow standpoint and  specify changes. Prefer experience using various engineering thermoplastic materials.  Hands on operation experience with injection molding machines including Toshiba Meiki, Cincinnati Milacron and Mitsubishi.  Ability to communicate with Tooling engineers, design engineers, and equipment engineers. Must be willing to accept hands on work in a factory environment.

 

Qualified candidate must possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or technology related field.  1-2 years experience in injection molding processes a must.
