We have an immediate opening in our South Region group, located at our Springfield, Oregon location, for a Materials Coordinator.

Duties:
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating purchase and delivery of all raw materials necessary for resin, specialty resin, and HCHO production activities. This requires interface with both vendors and corporate purchasing and raw material coordinators. The Materials Coordinator is also responsible for continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce working capital, and improve production department efficiency or enhance safety of the operations. The Materials Coordinator is responsible for tracking raw material shipments as necessary including tracking railroad activity (daily switching requests, etc.) and maintaining the necessary paperwork and databases for inventory tracking (both raw material and product). He is also responsible for managing and reconciling raw material / finished goods inventories on a daily / weekly / monthly basis as required. The Materials Coordinator completes and compiles month end and year-end inventory reports.

The Materials Coordinator acts as the local purchasing agent for all safety apparel (PPE) and other ancillary equipment and products for the Production Department. The Materials Coordinator will serve as the lead for all Oracle activities and will be an integral member of the ISO certification team. The Materials Coordinator is also responsible for on call duty.

Qualifications:
B.S. degree (preferably in Engineering or computer science)
5 years work experience in a related field

Skills:
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks (word processing, spreadsheets, and databases)
Knowledge of general math and basic algebra
Communication skills, both oral and written
