Mechanical CAD Detailer

Adecco Technical is currently seeking a mechanical Detailer. Position is located in Cazenovia, NY and is expected to be a long term contract.


Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate detailed drawings for manufacturing under the direction of the Design Manager using current version of Unigraphics NX2

Compile data from Assembly and Sub-assembly drawings to produce Parts lists and Drawings Lists

Prepare necessary paperwork for supplier quote requests from previously generated designs

Organize shop folders and Engineering folders with current detailed drawings




Requirements:

One year of CAD experience or training required. Will train in the use of Unigraphics CAD systems

Knowledge of industry drafting standards and practices required including ASME Y14.5 drafting standards

Introduction or exposure to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

Mechanical ability and knowledge sets in areas such as machining, lathe turning, drill press, and grinding
