AirBorn Inc, a 100% employee owned electronic connector manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in our Addison facility. Responsibilities include developing connector systems based on customer input, product specifications, test data and standard engineering practices. This position develops tools for making components for assembly and develops manufacturing process to produce newly designed parts. Responsible for ensuring that designs and projects are completed on time and at a reasonable cost. Details drawings and coordinates building of prototype product and testing. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software.

The qualified applicant will have a strong knowledge of AutoCad or Pro/E experience. A bachelor?s degree or one to two years related experience and/or training.
