Mechanical Engineer-Entry Level

Yoh Company, the first and one of the largest technical staffing firms in the United States,

 has  a contract position  available for a n Entry Level Mechanical Engineer.  The position is located in the Reading, Pa.  The company is a first tier automotive R&D facility.  Job will involve travel Nationally and Internationally.  If you have the qualifications that my client requires, please e-mail your resume in Word format, and availability. Required Skills:

 Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or other related or equivalent experience.Must be able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally.Average 40% travel per year is required for follow up supervision.Excellent mechanical aptitude.Must be a self-directed and motivated individual who is willing to accept responsibility.Excellent written, verbal, skills.Must be able to work excess hours when necessary.Strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and Power Point0 and Lotus Notes.Knowledge of Auto Cad.Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside company in a professional manner.

 

Primary Duties:Manages project activities by planning, organizing, scheduling and controlling suppliers, contractors, manpower and materials.Develops detailed specifications for equipment procurement, review quotes, conducts supplier review meetings.Performs project investigation and development including:  fundamental design, evaluating various methodologies to determine a cost effective, dependable systems, estimate project costs for forecasting budgets and review previous projects for bench marking and lessons learned activities.Interfaces with building architect coordinating building and equipment contractors.Manages suppliers on multiple projects by reviewing and approving design drawings, coordination and monitoring on site installation.

Provide support for current production facilities
