NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. ("NMHG") designs, engineers and manufactures a complete line of lift trucks for virtually every market niche. All lift trucks are marketed under the Hyster?, Yale? or Sumitomo-Yale? brand names. NMHG is one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers. In addition to a worldwide distribution network of independent Hyster? and Yale? retail dealerships, NMHG operates wholly-owned dealerships in certain markets. Currently, we have an opening for a Mechanical Engineer III/IV to work in our Fairview, Oregon facility (20 minutes east of downtown Portland, Oregon).
Based in Portland, Oregon, NMHG is one of the three core businesses in the diversified holdings of NACCO Industries, Inc., a publicly-held company with headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
? Development of designs of the lift truck systems (i.e. hydraulics, electrical, engine and structural)
? The ordering of components, assemblies, and systems
? Provide documentation in the form of drawings / CAD models, Bills of Material, Engineering Change Notices, and Test Reports
Qualifications/Requirements:
? BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of industry experience
? Strong 3D solids CAD (Pro/Engineer) modeling experience that includes design/modeling of complex assemblies
? Strong engineering analysis skills
? Basic knowledge of lift truck systems such as: electrical, hydraulics and structural.
? Intermediate knowledge of lift truck systems such as: fuel system, throttle, brake activation systems and operator controls
? Excellent team skills
