Responsibilities:  As a manufacturing engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to production through a combination of design improvements to existing equipment, the transitioning of equipment from engineering to production and providing day to day technical assistance. The mechanical engineer, you are also responsible for the following quality systems procedures, as required. Your responsibilities will include the design, installation, debug and documentation of improvement to existing equipment. Interface with maintenance on technical changes or upgrades. Resolve production problems related to equipment. Support day to day production needs with technical assistance. Additional duties include assisting in improving overall manufacturing processes and related issues including process development, product assembly and production processing. Other duties as required.

 

Qualifications: Must have a four year Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent. Technical Requirements: two to five years of machine design experience in a manufacturing environment. No prior managerial experience is necessary.

 

Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance.
