Design, analyze, and develop mechanical and fuel system components on assigned Power Generation products.
- Provide work direction and conceptual input to designers in developing designs for Power Generation products.
- Provide work direction and support to technicians to complete engineering prototypes, perform tests, and analyze data.
- Ability to analyze emissions test data and interface with regulatory agencies.
- Interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and suppliers using concurrent engineering methodologies to optimize designs for cost and producability.
- Assure all engineering technical data is complete and accurately documented and establish and maintain technical files.
- Provide technical support to other functional areas within the organization, and participate in / lead design and functional reviews.
Provide input to project specifications and budgets.

- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required
- 1 to 5 years engineering experience
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical skills, including familiarity with thermal analysis, fluid mechanics, and engine performance analysis.
- Familiarity with quality tools including Six Sigma, Seven Step, FMEA,
DOE, and DFMA
