Mechanical Engineer (Pro-E / defense)

Develops practical and economic solutions to technical problems of moderate complexity in compliance with given requirements.  Requires working knowledge of most major areas of Mechanical Engineering and a work history demonstrating successful application of these concepts to challenging Mechanical Engineering designs. 

May be required to read, interpret. and prepare engineering drawings. Must be familiar with drafting standards such as Mil-std-100 and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
 
Must possess a good understanding of manufacturing producibility and assembly of the designs generated.
Minimum of 4 years Pro-Engineer experience a must, with data management software such as Windchill and Work Group Manager a plus. 

Education: this position requires an educational background typically acquired through a Four year Engineering degree.
Experience: This position requires an experience level typically attained with a minimum of five years experience in an engineering design environment.  Must have previous experience in the defense (DoD) industry.

This position requires significant structural design, machine design and drawing creation experience.
