Eastman Kodak is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Graphic Communications Group in Dayton, Ohio.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:



Senior mechanical engineering position to support development of new inkjet printing systems. The primary focus will be the analysis of air flow in the system and the commercial design airflow systems to optimize product performance. In addition, the position will be responsible for the commercial designs on the mechanical system chassis to integrate a new non-impact print engine. The position will work together with various engineers, physicists and specialists to determine airflow requirements and issues as well as print engine integration requirements, then be responsible for the commercial design of those modules into the overall printer system.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:


Experience with design and implementation of airflow or control systems

Experience with printing technologies a plus

Electro-mechanical aptitude,
CAD experience with Solidworks a plus

Good communications skills

Team oriented

Project or Department management experience a plus

Design for six-sigma a strong plus

MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

B.S. Mechanical Engineering

EDUCATION MAJOR:

Mechanical engineering

MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE:

10
