Mechanical Engineer utilizing Electronic Controls

DESCRIPTION:


Intralox L.L.C. has a position available for a Mechanical Engineer to support the commercial sales teams in development and technical sales promotion of conveying applications involving electronic controls. Entry Level up to 10 years experience.  Reports to the Technical Services Manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


?Support, develop and promote modular plastic belt conveying applications where specific features of the product are enhanced (enabled) through the application of electronic controls and designed mechanical devices.
?Explore, develop and promote new uses, applications or products creating increased value to Intralox conveyor belts when combined with a control system and other mechanical devices.
?Implement and maintain such controls systems and designed mechanical devices.


REQUIREMENTS:


?BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with controls course work, aptitude and interest.
?Proactive attitude, team player, and goal oriented
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills
?Application work with PLCs, VFDs, computer-based controls or data acquisition
?Computer proficiency in MS Office and CAD (Solidworks preferred); programming languages also desired
