Mechanical Engineering Technician / Machine Drafter

Evana Automation Specialists Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries Inc., is a leading supplier of automation assembly equipment. We specialize in motion controls, robotics integration and system architecture. We have designed and built a variety of machines and systems, from special stand-alone work cells to full turnkey manufacturing assembly systems.

 

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Technician to join our team in Evansville.  In this position, you will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information based on initial concept drawings. 

 

Preferred Education/Experience
BSME or BSIE or equivalent
2-years experience completing detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment
Strong MS Office, SolidWorks and/or AutoCad skills
Good technical writing skills
