Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Job/Departmental Summary:



There is an immediate opening for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in the Maintenance Department within our Catalyst and Absorbents Specialties Business at the Mobile, Alabama site. This position will have lead and support accountability for the implementation of a new work management process, as well as driving cultural change in the Maintenance and site organization. The incumbents will also lead and/or support the site Sub-Teams for reviewing weekly metrics scorecard, deficiencies, action items and follow up, coordinating training for maintenance and site personnel on work management.



 

Accountabilities of this position include:

 

? Development and communication of  Maintenance  Metrics Scorecard

? Coordination of  the training for all site personnel on all work management process components

? Status communication of the work management process initiative to all site personnel

? Audit all aspects of the work management process

? Determine the root cause of any deficiencies associated with the weekly metrics scorecard

? Drive the culture change from a reactive to a proactive environment

? Hold Maintenance Department employees accountable for complying with the work management process and its procedures

 

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of industrial experience, and some supervisory experience. 

 

Additional Qualifications:


Possess a strong technical background in trouble shooting and equipment design, capital management/project background is a plus. 
Ability to direct personnel, delegate work, and champion change. 
Possess competent computer skills, including CMMS, Microsoft Office Software, and Auto Cad, and working knowledge of SAP a plus.
