Mechanical Product Design Engineer

Howard Computers, a divison of Howard Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to fill the position of Product Design Engineer in our medical products group. Responsibilities will include design of individual components and overall product design beginning with concept development and prototyping as well as development of production methods and outside supplier relationships.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and at least 2-3 years experience in mechanical product design with emphasis 3D modeling, sheet metal forming, plastic part design, and stress analysis. Any experience in thermal analysis of electrical systems and/or product cosmetic design would be a plus.
