Mechanical Project Design Engineer - Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer with diverse talents and broad engineering knowledge to work in a multi-task environment with 6-10 projects assigned at a given time.

Job responsibilities will include the following:

 

? Design autoclaves and custom process systems

? Generate design approval and fabrication level drawings using AutoCad 2006 and Autodesk Inventor 8 design software

? Create Bill of Material utilizing MS Access data base, and coordinate with Purchasing department for procurement of materials for assigned projects.

? Generate and update Project Schedules and Design Documents for assigned projects using various software packages including MS Project, E-Project, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.

? Track project schedules and contract specifications to assure adherence to customer- and company- mandates.

? Communicate with customers via e-mail and telephone regarding product design and schedule.

? Coordinate with, and assist various departments to facility timely, cost-efficient, and accurate purchasing, fabrication, testing, installation, start-up, training and/or repair of products.

? Evaluate existing products for possible design improvements, cost efficiency, and reliability.

? Participate in Research and Development for new product lines.
