The Mechanical Project Engineer will develop and improve products and manufacturing processes by studying product and methods. Manage the validation documentation generation for built products. The ideal candidate will design and conduct research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, tooling and materials; validating and recommending and implementing cost reduction initiatives. Will develop validation documentation for new and old products studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment, training and guiding assemblers and technicians.

ASSURES PRODUCT AND PROCESS QUALITY BY:
Designing testing methods; testing finished products; establishing standards and validating new processes

MAINTAINS PRODUCT AND PROCESS DATA BASE BY:
Performing product structure and routing changes; tracking product and process changes and improvements.
Special project as assigned.


8 to 10 years experience in the repair and building of electro-mechanical systems or equivalent.
