Job Summary

Responsible for all mechanical designs of new products, product improvements and maintenance, manufacturing processes, and prototyping.

 

Job DescriptionMaintain and communicate progress of product development (mechanical) list as prioritized with Engineering team.Responsible for 3-D modeling and complete manufacturing documentation for plastic parts and sheet metal stamping.Component and product cost analysis (incl. manufacturing process), increase production efficiency and propose cost improvementsOperate as a liaison of mechanical issues with Headquarters in Belgium and subsidiary in China.Responsible for all in-house prototyping (CNC milling, conventional milling and turning)

 

QualificationsB.S. in Mechanical Engineering, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred  Experienced in plastic part design / tooling designExperienced in sheet metal designCAD experience in Solid Works is a mustCNC programming / Haas Toolroom millProject Management Experience/SkillsExcellent Communication SkillsMicrosoft Office proficient Organizational Skills
