Medical Device Product Design Engineer

This position will participate in all aspects of the product development process, from concept through manufacturing scale-up and product launch.  The primary job responsibility will be detailed design development, to transform product concepts into cost effective, reliable end products with great customer appeal.

 

To qualify for consideration, candidates must demonstrate the following:

 

- Medical product design and development experience, with demonstrated success

- Strong conceptual design skills, with emphasis on reliability, manufacturability, production costs, and aesthetics

- Creativity and a knack for finding a simple solution

- Excellent problem solving ability

- Understanding of FDA design control regulations

 

Required Experience:

 

- BSME in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline

- Minimum of 3-5 years in a product development engineering environment?medical device or FDA-regulated industry preferred
