 Metallurgist/ Foundry Supervisor

This position is responsible for managing a department consisting of 10 to 20 employees.  Items critical to success are meeting goals for throughput, productivity, cycle time, and quality.  Applicants should have the following qualifications:

 B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemistry or Material Science desired (will consider equivalent experience) Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles Manufacturing experience Previous supervisory experience Six Sigma training desired Ability to motivate and work along side employees to accomplish goals Experience with interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and terminating employees Knowledge of Microsoft office products Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly Organized and detail oriented
