Purpose of Position:



Position is for an Engineer who will provide program and engineering for PCB assembly?SMT and thru hole.  The Tulsa facility provides printed circuit boards and boxes for military and commercial applications using both automated and manual methods.

 

 

Responsibilities/Tasks:



?  Provide engineering technical support and design input for projects

?  Conceive, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for PBC assembly production using the latest lean manufacturing concepts

?  Technically document procedures and processes

?  Collaborate with purchasing, production, quality, contract management, and outside vendors to set and meet schedules and accommodate other customer requirements

?  Conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement and for resolutions to manufacturing problems including processes, machines, or programming problems

?  Develop new, automated processes using available software

?  5S implementation

 

 

Competencies/Skills/Qualifications;



?  4 year technical degree?BSEE, BSEET, or BSME or equivalent

?  5-7 years experience in high volume manufacturing facility, PCB required

?  1 year AutoCad R14 experience a plus 

?  Demonstrated conceptual thinking skills

?  Demonstrated project management experience?planning, budget, allocation of resources

?  Negotiation and conflict management skills

?  Working knowledge of quality workmanship standards?ANSI; Mil-Spec, ISO, IPC-610

?  Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem solving

?  Computer proficiency--Intermediate level in Microsoft Office

?  Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels and functions inside and outside LaBarge, Inc.

?  Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical

?  Significant experience in high volume manufacturing required

?  Green or Black Belt preferred
