 Sales Engineer Needed

 

 

 

Leading international manufacturing firm who specializes in providing dust collector bags, liquid filter cloths, maintenance services, and consultative solutions for filtration is seeking a professional with 5 years of outside territory sales experience. The individual will have worked in a fast paced environment, with multiple product and service responsibility, have territory experience, new business development know-how, and understanding of how to work with short and long sales cycles. He/she should have worked for a company in industrial sales in the manufacturing sector. Ideally, this individual would have experience in the process industries in one or all of the following: minerals, metals, food, chemicals, power generation, pharmaceutical, and/or paper.

 

Consultative, problem solving, services and business expansion with a technical orientation for filtration and process engineering are important to making this position successful. A proven track record with large or medium size organizations with experience calling on plant personnel all the way to executive levels is also required. This individual will be able to:

 

a)  Be a self-starter and motivated in a growing company.

b)  Work independently from a home office.

c)  Be a prospector and cold caller, finding the right decision makers, and closing sales by providing solutions.

d)  Manage existing accounts and build territory to approximately $3-$4 million annually.

e)  Ideally, this individual should be familiar with ACT or CRM software for trip reporting, communications, and sales opportunities.

f)  Travel outside the home base 2 to 4 days a week.

g)  Develop relationships with new and existing customers.

h)  Perform account development with existing customers on an on-going basis.

i)  Spend 95% of sales effort in territory introducing, developing, and closing business in (Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania - East, Virginia and West Virginia - East)

 

The compensation program includes base salary plus sales commissions that are uncapped, business expenses, cell phone, and multiple benefits packages.

Prior income levels need to be documented.  Pay potential to$100K.  Full technical and on-going sales support and training are provided to familiarize sales person with latest sales approaches. Resumes that closely match the above requirements will be considered.
