Metcalf & Eddy is looking to hire a WATER/WASTEWATER PROJECT MANAGER II for the New York, NY office. This person plans, schedules, conducts, and supervises/leads technically direct groups of multiple small to medium sized projects and/or one or more major projects. Usually involves continuous client contact from the lead identification stage to project completion. Provides overall project direction to the project team(s) while providing information about the status of the project to others in the firm. It will usually involve WASTEWATER MASTER PLANNING, DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION SERVICES for:
* Pump stations
* Sewers
* Pipelines
* Treatment Facilities
* and other design-build projects
Recommends and locates equipment, and ensures its interface with other systems, reliability and safety. Plans and conducts work requiring high level of judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and modification of some unconventional and complex techniques, procedures and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of complex design activities of moderate complexity and moderate revenue. Initiates or escalates the correction of any conditions which may adversely affect the completion of the project on schedule and within budget. This job coordinates resources for the project or is assigned to work on projects.

Qualifications
* BS degree in Engineering
* Water and Wastewater Engineering Design Experience
* PE
