Nuclear Training Accreditation Analyst
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Business, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Thorough knowledge of project management and department operational policies, procedures, and practices. Possesses five or more years of experience in a high level analytical or program management position. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to act as a consultant to department and division management, customers, and client organizations on specific and broad functional and strategic issues. Must be able to function as an independent analyst to plan, develop, and coordinate the design and implementation of large projects. Demonstrated record of developing recommendations in support of key strategic initiatives, and developing solutions to problems of major scope and complexity. Demonstrated ability to evaluate effectiveness of programs and institute changes as required. Requires the ability to make decisions consistent with organizational authorization levels, and to establish project schedules deemed appropriate. ANSI N18.1 Requirements: None
Preferences:
Degree: MBA/MA/MS. Knowledge of the Accreditation Process of the National Academy for Nuclear Training relative to Nuclear Industry Training and Qualification Programs. Experience in the area of self-assessment and training programs.
Typical Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for self-assessment analysis, and maintenance of Nuclear Training Division procedures and policies. The typical duties and expectations: gather documents, analyze, and draw conclusions on complex data and information after considering alternatives through independent research and analysis. Acts as key resource or consultant to department and division management, customers, and client organization on specific project, program, functional, or strategic issues with moderate to broad impact where subject matter expertise goes beyond established procedures and practices and requires analysis and decision making. Coordinates directed assessments of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station's accredited training programs. Develops and may conduct training for assigned programs. As an independent analyst, or in a lead capacity, plans, develops, and coordinates the design and implementation of mid to large-sized projects or a component of these projects including Accreditation Self- Evaluations Reports. May manage a key program or project component in support of overall functional or project initiatives. Prepares detailed and complex analyses and recommendations in support of major program, project, contract, or business unit and corporate goals after careful consideration of several alternatives developed from independent internal and external research in support of key programs, project, contract, or business unit goals. Performs analysis of the Nuclear Training Divisions performance and produces the Divisions Quarterly Performance Summary. Develops recommendations in support of key strategic initiatives. Develops solutions to problems of major scope and complexity. Develops and makes presentations to department and business unit management, customers, and other interested parties. May provide functional direction to others.
