OP181 - Project Engineer - Engine Accessory Drive

 

Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include leading the design, analysis, development and validation activities for Front End Accessory Drive programs.  The Project Engineer is responsible for the integration of the Front End Accessory Drive components as well as the overall system performance.  There will be a considerable level of interaction with the component suppliers to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.  The Project Engineer will create and maintain engineering documentation, oversee system packaging efforts, direct CAE simulation efforts, approve designs and ultimately take the accessory drive into production. 

Qualifications:First hand knowledge and experience in design, validation and production release of accessory drive systems is preferredStrong knowledge of dynamic system simulation is a plusSolid knowledge of the internal combustion engine and associated sub-systems is requiredKnowledge of prototype manufacturing processesExperienced in FMEA, DVP&R, etc.Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal communication skills5 years minimum experience in related positionsBSME Minimum
