Object Oriented Prg - Production Engineer - Simulation

A highly qualified candidate sought with proficient knowledge of Object-Oriented coding methodologies applied in the use of discreet event simulation tools (preferably ProModel and/or Arena). Experience in the design and implementation of "Monte Carlo" studies (probability theory) would be beneficial. Candidate should also be knowledgeable of SQL and VB or C# for data manipulation. A background in the Navy or Naval Ship Design/Construction with working knowledge of material handling processes on ships is desirable. Position involves working the ability to physically access a wide variety of work sites - such as aboard ships under various stages of construction or overhaul- and includes access by use of vertical and inclined ladders, possibly limited kneeling, stooping, standing, etc. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Production/Systems engineering OR Computer Science/Management of Information Systems/Information Technology OR sufficient quantity of relevant experience is required.
