Our client is currently looking for an Office Manager to head up their Wilmington, DE office.  Strategically, our client seeks to concentrate on the Transportation markets:  design, CM, traffic, planning, and all sub disciplines involved in the same; therefore, we have been asked to locate management talent which possesses a background in one or more of these disciplines.  A significant factor in considering the ?right person? will be existing relationships and contacts in the Wilmington (local) and Delaware (statewide) transportation marketplace, but talented candidates outside of this market will be reviewed.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 Providing overall direction to the day to day operations for branch. Accountability for branch profitability and financial management. Business Development efforts, of which the OM will manage the highest profile pursuits. Maintains strategic relationships. Provides leadership and strategic guidance to others within the operation. Maintaining quality output within the organization. Coordinates cooperative work-sharing arrangements among branches. Develops teaming relationships.

 

Requirements:

 Minimum of 15 years experience.BSCE, or equivalent.Registered Professional Engineer in DE preferred.Proven management and leadership capabilities.Expertise in one of the following consulting disciplines: Surface Transportation Design, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Structural/Bridge Design.
