Operations Engineer with (metal fabrication)

Adecco Technical currently has a job opening for a Sr. Tech Operations Engineer with (metal fabrication) background in Fullerton, CA.
This is an open-ended contract position for a person looking to work for a dependable medical device company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Resolve technical and quality issues that cause production shutdowns
? Provide project or team leadership skills that are demonstrated in achieving organized goals
? Provide technical support for internal and external customers to plan and accomplish project/team objectives
? Interface with Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and suppliers on the release of new products and their cost improvements
? Implement and maintain manufacturing methods on fabricated parts in compliance with company, ISO, and GMP standards while focusing on cost reduction, JIT/Kanban, and quality improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
? BS degree in mechanical or related engineering fields with five plus years experience in metal fabrication and mechanical assemblies
? Proficient in print reading, cad/cam systems operation, fixture and tooling design, technical writing, creation of production and project presentation documents using office software
? Good mechanical and self-development aptitude
? Experience with continuous process improvement projects and process validation analysis
? Project or team leadership experience with good organizing skills in a fast-pace, hands-on, and customer-focused environment
? Technical and working knowledge of CNC punching and machining, CAM programming, SPC, GD&T, and fabrication processes
