Operations Research Analyst

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit applied research arm of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.  Our more than 1,000 employees perform or support approximately $100 million in research yearly for more than 200 clients in industry and government.

 

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks qualified candidates to fill a research position in Operations Research.  GTRI researchers support legacy system sustainment by performing analysis and trade studies as well as developing decision-aid software.  The position includes contributing to the development of algorithms that will be employed in software programs, analyzing data from diverse databases, and interacting with customers via presentations and demonstrations.

 

Experience:

 

0-5 years experience in a job that demands structured, highly integrated, multiple logic processes.  Job experience is preferred, but recent graduates with excellent credentials will be considered.

Education:

 

MS or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or Operations Research.
