Optical Fabricator

The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties in the optical fabrication process and will work under general supervision.

Qualifications:
To qualify the candidate must have an high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Also, three to six months of related experience and/or training. The essential duties and responsibilities include:


Performance of optical fabricating process

Coring; sawing; curve generation

Mill centering; beveling; blocking

Grinding; polishing

Comply with health and safety policies and procedures

Support company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions

Layout and schedule of working for generation, blocking and grinding areas

Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, equipment and general work area

Other duties and responsibilities as may be required

Comply with wearing appropriate garments for department

Comply with the Clean Room Protocol when entering a clean room environment
