Overhead Crane Maintenance Personnel

Nucor Steel ? Arkansas has an immediate opening for an Overhead Crane Maintenance Personnel with a strong electrical background. The job will include both electrical and mechanical work.

Qualifications include:
Above all - must consider safety first. Desire to work safely in a demanding environment. A good understanding of basic electrical theory.
Ability to read and troubleshoot problems using electrical
schematics. Experience with 3 phase motor control. Experience working with variable frequency drives (VFD?s). A good understanding of mechanical drive systems and
components. Ability to troubleshoot problems from mechanical and electrical schematics Ability to work in a hot environment No fear of heights Ability to perform both mechanical and electrical work

In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, preference will be given to those candidates that have previous crane maintenance experience, are certified welders and have worked in an industrial environment. The selection process may include aptitude and psychological testing.
