We welcome you to apply for the following opportunity as an AVEVA PDMS (Vantage Plant Design Management System) / CAD Administrator with the Boilers- (NAM) North America Business located in Windsor, Connecticut supporting projects throughout the world.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Primary responsibilities are those associated with the implementation of a new installation of PDMS, and administration of PDMS projects in a global environment. The specific responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

 
Develop and implement a new installation of PDMS including the development and maintenance of standards documentation to formalize the company requirements and methods.
Project administration of PDMS  in a global environment.
Practical usage and administration of PDMS ?GLOBAL ? utilizing multiple satellite installations.
Project management and administration of  ?DRAFT? & ?ISODRAFT? on both a project specific and cross-project basis.
Practical use and application of the ?Vantage Management Suite? with specific focus on global Clash Management for project specific applications.
Managing 3D model exchanges with internal partners and external customers potentially  using different software applications.
Leadership responsibility within the user community and with functional groups that impact or are impacted by this implementation.
Practical knowledge of PML programming language and Operating System scripts.
Knowledge of Network operations and protocols.
Practical experience developing  and managing PDMS ?CATS & SPECS? for Piping, Structural and HVAC applications.
Advanced Modeling capabilities in all of the core disciplines; Piping, Equipment, Structural and HVAC.
Domestic and /or international travel may be required. (5% -10%)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Candidates must possess a BS in Engineering or Computer Science related major or specialized combination of education and / or demonstrated accomplishments plus a minimum of ten (10) years experience as a PDMS Administrator in a global environment. Highly effective communication and collaborative interface skills, with demonstrated competency in building sound working relationships.
