PLM Systems Engineer

Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a PLM Systems Engineer in our Indianapolis, IN facility.

The successful candidate will:

This position will be responsible for: ensuring the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and tools meet the needs of the customers. Ensuring compliance with PLM OPs (Operating Procedures) & BPs (Best Practices). Developing solutions to improve productivity & eliminate duplicated efforts. Reviewing and signing off of Statements of Work (SOWs) & Requirements documents. Reviewing PLM Software Vendor Design Specifications. Reporting on the status of tasks to the Indianapolis PLM Technical Lead.
Providing guidance to Super Users on PLM issues. Maintaining strong communications with GPT (Global Process Team) counterparts. Providing technical feedback on program plans to the Indianapolis PLM Project Lead. Managing issues through the PCB (Product Change Board) process. Supporting other PLM team members as required to fulfill the PLM strategy.

Position requirements include:

The following requirements are mandatory for this position: BS degree in engineering; experience on NX2 or better; a minimum of 5 years experience in teamcenter enterprise or teamcenter engineering; an individual who is a team player with a positive attitude; the ability to function effectively in a matrix organization; willingness to travel; good technical writing skills; and the ability to work with all levels of individuals the company. Preferred: Exposure to manufacturing operations and training experience would be preferred but not required for this position.
