PRINCIPAL PROJECT ENGINEER

This position is located in Lebanon, NH and is responsible for implementing new or used machine tools and/or any other related pieces of equipment such as gauging equipment, software pertaining to manufacturing, tooling and etc.? At times, product development projects will require support from this position.

Other responsibilities include:?

Provide machining specifications to Machine Tool Vendors. Be able to take a machine tool and other related equipment from start up to production successfully. Incumbent's performance of all tasks must be largely self-directed, requiring minimal supervision. This position will have supervisory responsibility, in which case the incumbent will be expected to supervise and provide technical direction for typically 3-5 exempt and/or non-exempt employees. Will be required to specify and design machine tooling, detail machine and process set-up data and work with hourly associates, manufacturing supervision, and engineering in rectifying any issues arising from difficulties with any aspect of the machining process. This position will require overseas travel and adjusting to different cultures.



Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 6-10 years experience. Masters Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to provide sound evaluations of highly technical manufacturing problems. Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering procedures and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently.
