PROJECT ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL - HEAVY TRANSIT

We have partnered with the North American leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of heavy duty transit in municipal and private sectors.

Currently we are seeking a Electrical Project Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• The electrical design components of prototype from concept to final testing and turnover to production engineering.
• Upon completion of prototype design, collaborates with production engineering, liaison engineering, vendor relations and production to ensure details of design are properly communicated and executed throughout the organization.
• Oversees the transfer from models to engineering drawings, installation drawings, bill of materials and other in-house processes.

QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS:
• BSEE or equivalent with at least 5 years experience with I/O Controls multiplex systems
• Low and high current module programming and ladder logic skills
• Skilled in J1939 and J1587 communication systems
• Adept at reading and interpreting electrical and schematic prints.
• Significant experience with Solid Works or a very closely related software
