Petroleum Engineer

An aggressive North Texas independent oil and gas company is seeking to hire a degreed petroleum engineer for their Gainesville, Texas office.? This candidate must be experienced in completion, workover and production operations with a minimum of 10 years of experience in these areas.? Candidate must have a solid working knowledge with downhole tools and equipment.? Candidate must also be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, possess resourceful thinking, and have excellent communication skills.

This individual will be responsible for the following:

?????????? Evaluate productivity of development drilling wells through log interpretation and formation evaluation,

?????????? Plan well completions,

?????????? Provide technical assistance in well production through design and/or analysis of production facilities and methods,

?????????? Identify and analyze well production problems,

?????????? Formulate and evaluate solutions,

?????????? Plan and prepare well workovers; and cost estimates for recommended workovers,

?????????? Recommend, design and plan hydraulic fracture treatments,

?????????? Provide field personnel with technical support on completion and workover operations for day to day operations,

?????????? Identify and evaluate opportunities for increased or accelerated recovery; Make recommendations concerning well disposition or need for further evaluation.
