Seeking a Project Engineer for heavy commercial construction bridgework in the Texas market. Candidate must be an aggressive "go-getter".

Job Experience:
Supervises 2 to 10 Foreman, Surveyors and Field Office Clerk.

Reads and interprets owner's drawings and specifications insuring that others understand requirements and approves their Plans, ensuring quality control on the entire project.

Directs priority of operations, allocates equipment and materials to foremen, arranges for purchase of miscellaneous materials, plans needs for more expensive materials and places timely requisitions / releases with the Project Manager.

Provides for a detailed construction plan for 10 days, and general plan for 3 months.

Supervises field Office Clerk; when one is required, insures that all required records and reports are made (Diary, timesheets, safety meetings, job files).

Insures that all aspects of company's safety, OSHA, and E.E.O. programs are carried out on the jobsite.

Conducts Safety Meetings with salaried employee-owners to instruct them on topics for crew meetings, to enforce all safety regulations, and to be constantly alert to all safety conditions.
