Piping Designer - Mechanical/Piping/CAD 24.04-33.65 $/hr

A multidiscipline consulting and engineering firm with several locations in the U.S. has a TEMP-to-PERM position in its suburban Atlanta, Georgia office for a Piping Designer/CAD Operator. Candidates MUST have 5-10 years of specific experience in mechanical piping design projects, with specifics in: medium temperature hot water; steam and condensate; compressed air; domestic water; chilled water; natural gas; fuel oil. Fire protection experience would be a PLUS. MUST demonstrate the ability to manage the design of projects, delegate and supervise piping design, and generating mechanical piping flow-sheets. MUST be able to work with project managers, in coordination of projects between the Engineering Design Department and institutional clients. The types of projects that the Mechanical Piping Designer would handles would be: Central Energy Plant Design, including existing and new plant construction, and Piping Distribution Systems. Candidates MUST be proficient in AutoCAD 2005 & 2006. Relocation assistance for the right qualified candidate.
