Planner - airport/project manager/FAA .42-.72 K/yr

A Boston Firm currently has an excellent opportunity for an aviation Planner. Responsible for formulating and conducting technical planning studies in a timely and efficient manner and formulating results in a concise well written document. Solid writing, communication, technical analysis, computer and research skills are essential. Working knowledge of statistics, land - use planning principles, and Microsoft office software required. This position also includes Airport master planning environmental planning Airspace, financial and land acquisition planning. Comprehensive aviation planning services at GA and commercial services airports. Attendance at meetings both within and outside the firm pertaining to existing and potential projects (Public awareness groups and regulatory agencies etc.). Coordination with Federal State and Local regulatory agencies on scope and impact of project. Working with other departments in the office and other offices throughout the firm.Preparation for and assistance with marketing efforts. Preparation of graphics and presentation materials. Bachelor's degree in planning or related field plus a minimum of 5 - 10 years of aviation experience at GA and commercial services airports. Candidate must know FAA airport design standards and FAR part 77, have a working knowledge of TERPS and NEPA environmental processing requirements and possess strong marketing,computer and communication skills. Northeast aviation industry experience is a plus. Being a self starter is most important Relocation is paid by the company and is a great working environment
