Post-Sales Engineer

Job Description:
"This position is for an Engineer in the AT&T Government Solutions Post-Sales Engineering group. This individual supports the AT&T Program Teams, AT&T Customer Care and the AT&T Government Solutions Enterprise Management Center (AGSEMC) in implementation and tiered support. The successful candidate will at times work directly with customers in resolving technical issues relative to the AT&T family of data services offered.

The Technical Staff Member duties include: implementation engineering (new site deployments), validation of network designs for new and existing customers, tiered support for the EMC, executing test plans, development of Frame Relay global and local addressing schemes (DLCI assignments), development of ATM global and local addressing schemes (VPI/VCI assignments)

The successful candidate should possess: excellent communication skills - verbal and written, experience in trouble shooting and problem determination.

Additional desireed skills include configuration of: Cisco Products, Juniper Routers, Modems, CSU/DSU, Multiplexers, Inverse Multiplexers, ATM, Frame Relay, IP enabled Frame Relay/ATM, ISDN, VPNs, transport facilities (SONET, T1, E1, T3) skilled use of network test equipment and protocol analyzers (layers 1-7), skilled use of cable and fiber test equipment

BSCS/EE or equivalent or 5 years related experience desired.
US Citizenship required, must be willing to complete Government Agency Clearance Request.
The position is in Oakton, VA - NO virtual office and there is NO relocation $.
